Waste purchasing
Plastic
There are over 50 types of plastic made of consumable raw material, such as oil, coal and natural gas.
The main problem with plastic material is that it isn't biodegradable, lasting in the environment for a very long time.
The types of waste we purchase are especially technical polymers such us polyamides, polycarbonate, pmma (plexiglass) and styrenes. All those are commonly used in the automotive, HDPE, LDPE, PP, PVC industry.
Paper
Millions of tons of paper are used every year for various activities.
The recycling of paper requires only half of the energy used to obtain it in tthe first place.
Glass
Glass is made mainly of sand and requires enormous energy.
It's a project we'll be working on starting 2009.
Leather
We purchase unlimited amounts of natural leather waste coming from furniture industry, automotive industry, briefcase leather and clothing industry.
Rubber
